2007 Mini Cooper S - Class GS?
Looking through the rules I assume I am in the GS class. I do have M7 Coilover shocks, but no geometry changes, no camber plates, and I am using the stock sway bars, brakes, etc.
There are no engine, intake or exhaust mods at all.
I do want to use my new PerformanceBox gadget to record split and lap times.
Do they allow us to take these gadgets on the walk thru to record start, split, and finish locations?

The stock strut is a coilover, the M7 coilover comes with its own spring. The spring is not shortened and the M7 coilover uses the same mounts as the stock coilover.
What am I missing?

So its not an OEM spring?
If not, no stock for you.

I meant Street Touring S (STS).
What the heck is Street Tire Stock 1 and 2? I see them in the results but can't seem to find them in the rules. Since it's STOCK, I must not qualify for that either?

SK1 and SK2 are new local classes in San Diego (will only be in the San Diego rule book, not SCCA's). They follow the stock rules with the additional restriction of 'street tires' (140+ treadwear). SK2 is cars that would fall in HS,GS, ES, DS or CS handicapped together. SK1 is cars that would fall in SS, AS, BS and FS handicapped togther.
The mini S is actually STX, not STS. STS allows very few forced induction cars and no torsen limited slip diffs.

Thanks for the help Jay. From the specs, the 2007 Mini Cooper S is a 1.6 liter with a twin-scroll direct-injection turbocharger. It's a single unit that acts like a twin turbo. Is this still ok for STX?
I ask because in paragraph 14.11, item 3 states single turbo.

I'd say you're alright for STX. It is a motor which makes no more power than some competitors Integra Type R's.

Yeah that's a good one. Your probably only goign to get opinions locally, a real ruling would come out of the national office. I'd run it locally until you hear differently.
