So a "trophy winner" is anyone who is a club member and ran enough events? Do I get like a t-shirt or something if I go to the banquet? :)

Yes, any club member that competed in 2/3 of the events (in the same class) will get a class trophy. Everyone attending the banquet will get one chance at the door prize.

Thanks. Do I need to go to the banquet to get the trophy? Is it an actual trophy or is it a surprise?

Cool . . . now what to do with an infrared thermometer with laser or the wireless thermo/hygrometer?!? Is that wi-fi or Bluetooth ;)

Larry,
Is it possible to reserve a table for a certain club, so that all the club members can sit together? How many people are at each table?

As I remember the table and room setup was different each time. We just tell them how many people and they setup enough seats plus a few extra. The best thing to do is to get there early and save seats for your group.

For those who can't make it to the banquet you can have a friend or someone from your club pickup your trophy. Unclaim trophies will be available at the next event.
Class winner will get a jacket and trophies for everyone else.

Just a reminder ...
Pre-paid registration deadline is Saturday, February 4th. After that it goes up to $50 per person.
When in doubt, send in the money, just make sure you call to cancel by February 8th. Otherwise there will be no refund. :(

Thanks to the Chans, specially Kim, for a good banquet. Everything went well, other than the traffic getting to the event.
Well, I also still have one raffle ticket that did not win. I think that must have been an oversight.

I concur. Terrific job by Kim putting the event together. :)
And it was great to see Larry get some well-deserved recognition from the Region for his dedication to the Solo II community. For this event alone he put together all the raffle prizes (and has for many years.) And then sells the tickets. And then hands them out. And he serves as MC, tag-teaming with Robbie. :D
Additionally, much Thanks to Robbie for, once again, taking on the task of having the jackets and trophies made. As well as working with Larry to hand them and the raffle prizes out at the event.
And, Congratulations to all our champions, trophy winners, and a special thanks to the 13 members who made all 13 events in 2005.
Finally, I look forward to seeing all of you in a parking lot sometime soon! ;) :D
Best Regards,
-Steve Schmidt
