So much for the new email only system, I did not get any notice that the practice was open.

Never had this happen when we got snail mail notice btw.

In any event the check is in the mail to Charlie & I'll cross my fingers again for a few days.

Does anyone on this board know 1) When was the notice emailed out and 2) to whom do I speak about getting on the email list?

Yes I checked my junk mail & yes I have 2 emails listed with the SDR region & yes I did get email notice for all the other practices this year.

Could be a conspiracy going on to make me miss a practice?

As you can see by the date, it was posted on the 24th. I just checked and I got my email notice on the same date, the 24th. In the junk folder.

As far as emails are concerned. If you have spam protection like I do certain emails that have to many 'cc' addys can go into the 'junk' folder. I have found it's pretty inconsistant. So I check my 'junk' folder, as well as the 'Events' section of the forum pretty regularly.

Cool, I'm in work group 4. This will be my first driving event. (I rode along for one practice back in February.)

Being in the later half, about what time should I show up for Reg and Tech inspection? Around 10:30 - 11?

9 would be better. Even better would be to walk it in the morning as well as at lunch. That would be getting there at 8

11 is too late IMO. You will be rushing through registration and tech, then only walk the course once, and at a hurry at that.

You really cannot walk a course enough.

Plus you can grab rides in the morning runs and see how others take the areas you are curious about.
