As POP TART let me give you a little background on TART and what we do. Years back the Corvette Club was an AUTOX member club. They moved away from racing and that left several of us without a member club. I was chairman of the Racing Association, then called San Diego Autocross Association (SDAA), at the time. So in 1988, I and several other racers formed TART.

Basically, I run the business matters of the club. Another member attends the SOLO2 Committee meetings, votes, and represents TART. As a club, we do not have formal scheduled club meetings, we do however, meet and discuss issues during autocross events and at periodic social events (usually dinner or brunch). We are the smallest member club, yet we put on as many or more events every year as any other member club. We take pride in the belief that we TART members put on the best managed, on time events, with minimal disruptions. If you have attended a TART event, I think you will agree.

TART members are expected to attend and work at TART sponsored events. Work consists of doing whatever is necessary to ensure that the event is well managed and conducted to the benefit of attending drivers. TART members are also required to work the required one run group during any event that they attend.

TART has numerous AUTOX related items for TART members use. Some examples are, portable digital scales, camber/caster, toe, and bump steer gauges.
