I notice that event #12 is still not included in the Championship Points. Is that just an oversight? Any idea when the top 9 out of 13 will be finalized?

Event 12 was not run on the computer system. It was hand entered into the system by Matt K last night and we now have a complete set of points. :) I have done some reviews of the points and fixed a few things (e.g., people running with different numbers over the year and different classed cars in PAX clas.s) I plan to do some additional reviewing of them and hope to have them posted in a day or two.

Thanks for the update and definitely gobs of thanks for all the diligent work you have done all year. I also had an idea to float by you and others:

Would it help to set up a video camera near the start line that would catch:
A) the car crossing the start line
B) the car # (or lack thereof)
C) have it pointed so that it could also see the finish line (thus providing another estimate of the time)
D) and hopefully have it set up so you can even see the driver's face (in case 2 driver cars may forgotten to change #'s and you end up with 4 runs for 1 # and 2 for the other)

That way, you would have unambiguous evidence of what happened for the cases I am guessing must occur where the record keeping gets a little confused in the trailer.

It doesn't seem like this would cost much or be much extra work to setup, so while you have the experience of getting everything straightened out clear in mind, what do you think, would this have helped you out?
