Gallery here (http://www.cchanphotography.com/gallery2/main.php)

Well I got my new gallery software/host setup finally. It only has a couple of test galleries right now but if anyone has a couple of minutes and doesn't mind browsing through and playing with the different options and letting me know if there are any issues or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. There are buttons for full size, exif, etc. Thanks!

Looking forward to shooting more events in 06!

Is the resolution/sharpness as good as it gets? PS I am point & shoot level of camera savvy, so if this is a stupid question, sorry:)

:)

No the resolution sharpness can be much better than what may be available on the site. I simply set the gallery sizes to 640xXXX or 800xXXX. If you move the mouse to the center third of the image and click it'll pop up full size, then upper left hand corner you have a full size link, click that again and it won't be compressed.

here's a full size (http://www.cchanphotography.com/gallery2/d/249-2/CSC_5678.JPG) from the D2H (camera used for those shots)... it's a 4mp camera. I recently picked up a D200 which is 2.5x higher in resolution.. I don't think I will regularly upload the largest resolution photos simply because of the file size and bandwidth it'll burn. That and possibly looking at turning this hobby into more than just a hobby in the near future. :)

That's a nice clear shot & the gallery seems very "user friendly"

Better wax up my black Vette so you'll take some shots of me.

Shoot, I just figured everyone would know who Mark Donahue was, I guess 60's and 70's racing is not as fresh in everyones mind as it is in mine

Hehe no offense, but I was born in the 80's... well 1980 to be exact. No kid jokes!

Which way is it spelled? You say Donahue, but did the first author of the article gum it up and write Donohue?

I wasn't born until late '82, so I'm even worse off.

It's Donohue. He wrote a book called "The Unfair Advantage" about his racing career. Great read.

A couple of years before he died he changed the spelling of his last name from Donahue to Donohue because that's how most people in the press were spelling it ;)
