Hello there
We are a motorsports club that caters to SDSU students and alumni, as well as college students of San Diego county. We are creating a demonstration product in conjunction with a local tactical (military/LE) equipment company with no plans to really market and sell the product. This is a fairly informal excercise.
However, we need information from local autocrossers to make this product. Following is a questionnaire that we created to gather such data. Please help us out by answering these questions! I'll reply with an example to give you a better idea on what sort of detail we'd like, but feel free to answer the questions in any way you would like. Thank you!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
This questionnaire have been written with the typical autocrosser in mind, such as those that race their daily driven vehicles at autocross events.
1. How long have you been autocrossing?
2. Are there any other kinds of motorsports you currently participate in?
3. How long have you been racing in other forms of motor sports?
4. On a typical autocross day, what items and tools do you take with you to the venue? Please include anything from floorjacks and pressure gauges to sunblock and food.
5. When you bring these items and tools to autocross, how do you pack them and transport them? (example: I pack item A B C and D into a daybag and stuff them into my trunk)
6. How often do you use these items on a typical autocross day?
7. From these items, which items are absolutely imperative that you bring to make your autocross sessions possible?
8. On a similar note, if you had to decide not to bring certain items what would they be?
9. How heavy do you reckon these items are altogether?
10. What items do you take with you to other sorts of motor sport events?
11. When you bring these items and tools to these motor sport events, how do you pack them and transport them? (example: I pack item A B C and D into a daybag and load them into my trailer)
12. Are there any ideas or wishes for a track bag type of product?
