Cone Clinic @ Tour..reg now open

Well, it seems that the national office has dotted their i's and crossed their t's this year in discussions with the event chairs (unlike last year's debacle), so we have been asked to put on a Cone Clinic at the San Diego Tour for 2007. We did these at every Tour last year starting with Walnut Ridge and they were very well attended and high marks were given from participants for the value received. Registration is now open and details can be found on the scca.com web site as follows:

Is this only for SCCA members? And I can't seem to find it on the calender. It says look under "Autocross Schools" but :confused:.

I would assume just for SCCA members. I am quite surprised it is not exclusive to people registered for the Tour.

Take the link in the original msg and then click "Cone Clinic" in the right hand side link list. Then take the link there and scroll down to Fri, March 16 and you will see the Cone Clinic.

While designed primarily for novices and intermediates, veterans looking for a quick "kick in the pants" have also found the program valuable.
So much for the SCCA's prior statment (emphasis added)...

The Cone Clinic was designed for the purpose of encouraging and assisting novices. It is not appreciated when experienced competitors abuse it to get extra seat time.
I understand there are some national caliber drivers signed up. Absurd! :mad:
