I don't have a car number yet, would they give numbers on practice day?
can I run without number? I am a SCCA member but haven't got my san diego region number yet.

It's up to the hosting club whether they will allow people without a Solo2 card to enter the PRACTICE event (by mail, in advance).

However, because it is the beginning of the year there are plenty of people who don't have a card (meaning a car number). The first event is also where many people pick up their previously renewed card. Someone will ABSOLUTELY be there to distribute the renewed cards on Saturday. If the hosting club allows those without cards to enter (in advance, by mail) I am sure someone will also be selling cards.

Of course if you don't get in the PRACTICE, you can purchase your card the next day, at the Champ event.

You CANNOT run in a San Diego Region event without a Solo2 card, whether a practice or champ event. The only exception is the Tour, a SCCA event in March.

"go karts" are not permitted, but F125 legal karts are. Keep in mind that the practice is being put on by the "kart club" SDAD.
