Sounds like an old series on ESPN called Secrets of Speed.. I have the episode for Audi's Secret of speed (Quattro) video. Very nice race history from the first URQ to IMSA

The Victory by Design series is pretty good. The Porsche episode is funny because the host recalls how a 917k long tail's air flow sent him into the weeds at Le Mans when he was driving for Ferrari.

I got it on Tivo last night. I understand the DVD is a lot longer and in depth.
