Well, another year in the books. By my UNOFFICIAL calculations, Jane won. 99.118 to my 98.985. We were essentially tied going into Saturday's event; and she found the fast way around the course. Beat me 57.124 to 57.922; thereby clinching the SS championship year. Nice going, honey. Can we get a new dishwasher next year?
Only other club member to get enough events in was Richard C.; who finished a very credible third with a 92.851 for the year on street tires in his C6 Corvette.
Apparently not counted as a club member; but certainly worthy of honorable mention was Sean G., a fine competitor who kicked our butts for the last several events in his Lotus Elise #422. Sean would have finished third with a 96.376. Good thing for us he didn't try Hoosiers until late in the year...Sean will certainly be a front runner next year.
Needless to say, there were many other great competitors who ran against, and often beat, Jane and I this year. We enjoyed their company, and tried to learn from them. Hope to see you all more next year!
