Class question here - I was looking at adding the Flyin' Miata frame rails to my '97 (w/o the butterfly brace) and was wondering if they are legal for SM2. My understanding is that they would be legal since the rules allow subframe connectors that don't connect the frame rails.

What do y'all think?

Well, the don't tie the frame rails together, so it sounds like it would fit in the SM2 rules. Best bet is to shoot an e-mail to seb@scca.org and ask. Good to include a link to FM's site so they know what you're talking about.
