View Full Version : SUNDAY! Oct 22 practice, not Saturday

The original flyers that got snail-mailed out mistakenly had the upcoming practice scheduled for Saturday Oct 22.
--- It should have read Sunday Oct 22.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, and please pass this infomation on to anyone you know that does not use computer access and only relies on the snail-mailed flyers.

Thanks,
Bruce

Would my friend be able to send in registration if he doesn't have a regional card but WILL pick one up the day of? Or can he just push his luck and show up on practice day, purchase a card, and hope he gets in?

Practices are "usually" sold out and have waiting lists fyi.

Like Froggy said, practices usually fill up, so I would suggest having your friend just send in an entry now. Michael Contour is signed up for the practice, so regional cards should be available the morning of the event. Just get there early (before 8AM) if you are trying to run in the morning, or by 10AM or so if he plans to run in the afternoon.

If for some reason things aren't going to work out, he can cancel up until Thursday the 19th and I will just rip up the check.

And I might as well update how the event is filling up. Group 2 or B is full and the others are about 1/2 full. I will put up a list soon.

I don't have the flyer in front of me, but I haven't noticed a discount for most practices I've been in (and believe me, I've been to a lot of them this year  ).

Pretty sure it's work one, run the rest.

More sure that by reading the flyer it is work 1 group - run 1 group for 90 minutes!
100 entrants/4 groups 25 per group.
3 cars on course - should be around 10 to 11 runs barring unforseen things happening.

I don't have the flyer handy, but agree with Mark (if memory serves). It's work 1 run 1 go home. Not my favorite format, but seat time is seat time.

Hey I have a question, how come we no longer hold practices where you work one group and run the rest?

Because a lot of people don't want to wait in line with 75 other cars so you may get 1 run every 25 min.

How the practice is run is up to each individual club. You'll see varied formats depending on who's hosting.
