The software we use is the same as LA. The problem is not the system (well, it is if by system we also mean our methods and who is doing it). We are waiting on one person. *taps foot*

We should be able to get results from the software within minutes. If we audit as the day runs, the results should be coming out of the trailer finished. As the event is wrapped up, the results are done. As soon as someone has ftp access, the results can be uploaded to the internet. Bing, bang, boom.

The only manual task we have to do, is remove the last names from the results. In the long run, I would like the code guy to look into that being an automatic thing, seems simple enough.

What specifically, step by step, does SDR do to "audit" the results?

There are no "course sheets" or whatever those forms are called, like cscc and the tour. Maybe we SHOULD have them since our radios don't work half the time.

We do have the pylon count sheet and scoring sheet in the trailer, the ticker tape from the timer, and the worker assignment sheets.

Randy, this is why I mentioned using something like a flash drive in a previous thread. We get the results audited and finalized at the event, save the results on the flash drive, then the laptops can go home with whomever, and the flash drive can go home with someone who's probably going to be on the forums as soon as beer & pizza is over. Get the results off the laptops before they go into "storage." :)

That's a good start. With all the sharp minds we have in SDR we should be able to come up with a plan to speed this part of the process up.

They will have to be factored in by hand. That file I uploaded is NOT the final year end results. I even debated uploading it at all, but thought it could be useful.

TART did their results by hand, so they are not part of the computer database. Sorry.

Whenever you join, is when your points start counting. They will not work retroactively next year, so if you want your first event to count, then you need to join a club before the first event. Which is in January. :)

Guess I better start cracking then. I've narrowed it down to a couple of clubs, and I just need to get some more details on each.
