Nice listing. I like this phrase about the Nats dry tires: "something as yet untold."

For those of you who don't know Jason or this car, let me toot his horn since he's too modest to do so. He's a gifted mechanic and gear head, and he made sure this car has the best possible parts for its SCCA class. He's spent untold hundreds of hours building this car and sorting it out after each event and practice session. He takes good care of his cars and would be a great person to buy a car from.

This car is quite impressive in person. It would be an excellent car for someone who really wants to drive and not just pose next to their iconic dorifto car.

Personally, I'm not comfortable with a guy "tooting" another guy's horn...;)

Then you probably shouldn't ask how much money HE put into it, nor the time or engineering or development that also went into it.

JRho's car is a steal, I hope it goes to someone who will appreciate all of the time and effort and testing.

No, he has to win Natls with it first.

My bad, I just glanced and saw the #71 in the pictures above, but didn't see the #227.

I run #227 locally but usually run #71 at National events - that's how you can tell where each pic is from.

In addition to driving, I like to work on cars, planning how to make them faster, experimenting, fine tuning, and all that. The 240 at this point is in a very highly refined state, with little left to do that'll make it much faster or better handling - thus, my imagination has been elsewhere of late.

For someone who likes to just hop in a competitive car and go win without having to worry about having all the latest/greatest setup or equipment, this is a great choice, especially for ProSolo. Although, I'm starting to think it has a pretty good shot at Solo2 as well, as do the SCCAForums "Pick the Winners" participants.

The price is fairly negotiable, as I'm going to be quite anxious to get started on the next project after Nationals. I can work with the buyer to maybe reduce the price somewhat if they're not interested in certain parts I can re-use, like the hydraulic spring perches, a stock seat in place of the Cobra driver's seat, or the rear wing - the car would be 99% as good without those pieces, but I can take a good chunk off the price if I keep them. Keep in mind too, I'm including over $5k worth of tires, enough rubber to keep the car rolling well into 2008...

Car works well in Topeka, managed a win in ProSolo and Solo2. Get it while it's hot!

Looking forward to getting started on the next project, the SD Tour will be here before you know it...

I'm willing to entertain any reasonable offers on the car - get it now, plenty of time to get acclimated for the season next year. It'd be great to have it go to somebody locally, I'd be happy to help the next owner keep it dialed-in and everything.

Thanks for reading!
