Zink Z12 Formula Vee single seat race car for sale!!!

Yes, it's one of the ones that's a regular at Qualcomm - the silver and red one.

1979 Zink Z12 Formula Vee car that's still VARA road race legal (complete log books), with fire, 1200, current fuel cell, 3 sets of 1200 wheels, FV tires, also wide 13 tires for autocrossing, Hoosier C3000 R25As (ten runs) open trailer (single axle boat coonversion, CA DMV registered, current PTI). National quality parts in 1200 motor, Carrera front shocks (proFlex nitrogen shocks available), Fox rear shock on zero roll rear suspension setup, Supertrapp muffler (well within the SD noise limit).

Car has been modified to run autocross, but reversibly so - the steering's been sped up (but can be reset for the track), the rear suspension is adjustable for ride height, there is a reverse gear lockout, remote battery start connector, rain light, etc. But it also has a four pedal setup (clutch/brake/brake/accerlerator) for left foot braking, variable front ride height, fully floating adjustable front sway bar, cockpit controllable brake bias.

Car is current and running. Took 2nd place in the National Tour this spring.
Offers above $3800 for everything, $3000 with regular Kilne 1600 autocross motor setup.

Reason for selling - another SD Vee driver is selling his 1600 Vee car and I'm not planning on road racing anytime soon. Not looking to make a profit, just to pass the car on to someone who appreciates a real race car. If I modified this car any more, it would be hard to make it competitive on the track any more, which would be a shame.

Would obviously prefer a buyer who will continue to run it in FM in the San Diego region.

Photos and much more information on request.

Were I not unemployed.

But then you wouldn't be able to pay the $$ to get it in the first place.

I re-read that thing at first 3 times and got 3 different meanings. It was too early in the day for me.

No problem. I had to think about a while before replying. I'd claim too early in the day, but I've been up for hours. :D I should just write in plainer English.

For the record, Bob's post made sense to me... but I stared at Frosty's for a while in confusion. :)
