Openings for Solo-II practice event on July 2nd

Hello Folks,

The region is having a Solo-II practice event on July 2nd. This wasn't posted originally since entries were limited to local club members only. At this point, it likes there will be a few spots open, and we can take a few more folks.

Ignore the statements about "club members only".

Note: The open spots are in work groups 3 and 4 only. The first 2 work groups are full.

If you'd like to participate, please send in your entries ASAP. I will accept entries on a first come/first served basis, via US mail only. I will post the final entry list on or about Wednesday of next week. I will put overflow names on a waiting list as well.

let me get this straight. this means that anybody can join this practice event even you are not a member of a club? the reason i asked is because, a friend of mine wants to run in this practice event but he's not a member of any club. let me know asap so that i can call him and also deliver the check in your mail box (the fastest way) tonight or early tom. thanks!

i apologize for doing that. i didn't know that's not allowed. now, to be fair to everybody, i don't know how many entries you received today through mail. and if those entries already filled up the list for the practice event, then just put me on the waiting/overflow list. let me know if i made it. thanks.

OK, I processed the flood of mail that I received today. Everyone is in. Still have a handful of spots open. I expect those to fill up with tomorrow's mail, but there still may be a chance with Monday's mail.

If things go like normal, there will be a waiting list, with some of those folks getting in as well.

Sadly, I'm part of that flood. I've only had the flier for a week and I finally mailed it yesterday.... :rolleyes:

Stiffer rear springs, softer front springs or sway bar. Lower front tire pressures and raise the back tire pressures. :D

Or get a RWD car and mash on the gas all the time. No more understeer. :D

Pretty sure this is the case. :p

That in combination with my crusty camber. Alas. I'm 99% sure it's driver error (stupid drivers anyway) because I also get a lot of oversteer, telling me that the car is fairly well balanced, and the driver is extremely unbalanced.

I'd like to reserve one of the open spots on the 2nd but we are so close to the date should I send in the money or just bring it?

I'll put a check in the mail for overnght delivery. If it is too late I'll be at the practice anyway (whether I run or not) and we can take care of whatever is necessary.
