View Full Version : Did any of you go to the Speed Festival last weekend?

I went and had a great time and took a bunch of photos of some cool cars. You can check them out on my website racingroyalty.com on the LAST BLAST EVENT page. let me know what you think.
PS. I am getting my car (wifes) prepped for the 2012 season. please include me in the driving class for november. I will be using a 2001 audi tt quattro 1.8L. If there are any mentoring folks out there I would like buy you a cup of coffee and talk.:banana:

Pretty much every year unless it conflicts with an autox.

Amazing collection of cars, this year they added Formula 5000 cars.

See the pic of #7 car, 5L to 8L motors, very fast for this 1.7 mile course.

the #7 car are talking about the little open wheel photo number 37 in the slideshow on my website? i wish they would have more races out there instead of one time a year.

Did you get a pic of the black f5000? He almost lapped the whole field in a 20 min race, awesome!

That's the one.

The run group (3 I think) was split in two groups & paced by 2 pace cars to spread the slower cars from faster. He lapped all the slower group in a handful of laps and then most of his (fast) group.
