Hi Randy!
I have a few requests from the Region 57 Board.
At the bottom of this page, and the other pages on the forum there is a blue links bar. Could you add a couple links?
Already there is a link called 'San Diego SCCA' on that bar, but it does not go to the correct place. The existing link goes to the forum home. Could you name it correctly?
Then add a link to the ACTUAL 'San Diego SCCA', which is here;
http://www.sdr-scca.com/
Then we also need a link to 'San Diego Solo', which is here;
http://www.sdr-scca.com/solo2/
Then a final link to the National SCCA;
http://www.scca.com/home.aspx
We used to have most of these (but not all) in the blue bar right before the forum update, but we lost them in the move. The idea is to have all areas of the SCCA cross referenced.
Thanks,
Warren

There is a default (as I explained the last time I was requested to change this) for the forum home on the bottom links. Right now, the forum uses that name. I will see if I can clarify the naming. And yes, putting the rest of the links back as they were was on my "to do" list. :)

Thanks Randy!
That is one thing you can move from the 'to do' list to the 'to done' list.
I was going to ask for a link to my facebook page, but now there is no room.

Wow! That was quick.
Any chance of getting more than 5 "recent posts" on the front page or at least getting it on the todo list?
Thanks,
Bruce

OK... on the list. If I knew how to do it, I would do it right off... but I can't figure it out yet. Basically the forum software vbulletin totally changed how to do everything, so in my limited time, I have to figure this out.
The short list that has already been done:
1. Upgrade software to latest stable version.
2. Forget you were supposed to uninstall the CMS hack that you were using and find you broke everything having to do with the front page.
3. Quickly modify some front page settings so at least it is not a total fail and embarrassment to the region.
4. Tweak some colors.
5. Add/revise links to footer menu bar.
6. Tweak some more colors.
7. Add back the chasecam and tire rack banners
8. More color tweaks
9. Add facebook integration (you can now connect using link at top).

when you have time, you might check out this

and obviously I have no idea what is involved, so thanks for all you do.

Where is the "find user" link? Am I overlooking it?

Alternatively, if we click on the "What's New?" tab (out of Home, Forum, Blog, What's New?) we get a nice summary of recent posts... so I guess, never mind.
Howz a come nobody else mentioned this?

From Forum, Click Community
From the drop down, select Member List
On the right hand side, near the top is Search Members
Is that the same as Find User ?

Yep. That works fine. (Hard to use the search threads feature to find someone who hasn't posted - this works.)
