I know a few of you reading know me, for those that don't my name is Mike Wood and I'm an SCCA guy from up here in NorCal.
Anyhow, I've found a Boxster on the SD craigslist that looks exactly like what I've been looking for...maybe priced too high, but room to negotiate. Problem is, I'm up here, the car's down there...
I'm wondering if there might be someone in the SD area that could look at the car for me, prior to my flying down. In a perfect world, it would be someone familiar with these cars, but that isn't absolutely necessary. Alternatively, if someone knows of a Porsche expert that would charge a reasonable amount to do an "on site", that might work, too.
If it is a local club member, doing it out of the goodness of their heart, I'll pick up their entry fee for the SD Tour, if that sounds fair.
