I think the reporter called me, took some notes, and then wrote the story. For the most part he did a very good job. But...
My background is both video and military electronics. I was one of the guys in charge of the MX Missile program VIdeo System for Rockwell back in the day. I also spent a lot of my career working on various other military projects, specially involving making things shock and vib proof for direct hits or airborne/shipboard use. After that I went into the industrial/comercial video field and was a design guy for Sensormatic, the leader in the Security industry for video stuff.
We have sold a lot of stuff to various military agencies and law enforcement. We have product on a number of jets for example, and as noted in the article, on some trains.
