Just signed up to the forum today. I'm a noob and am interested in running some amature class autoX at Qualcom. Already got me a membership in SCCA, do I need another membership for this region? I'm hoping to meet some great people and enjoy some competition. :)

Yes you will need a "Number Card" This is the number you will display on your car.

Available at all Champ events (Sundays) and some practice events (Sat.).

Your SCCA membership does get you a discount. Bring your SCCA card. The SDR number card should be $20 for the year (with a $10 annual renewal fee), and each event should be $25.

Our next event is April 2nd.

Also of note is that the SDR region is made up of 5 individual clubs. You don't have to join one at all, much less right way. Get to know people and leave that decision for later.
