As it was my last autocross yesterday, I want to thank everyone for being the great people they are, and for running these events as you do. When karting and doing track days, the culture and sportsmanship just aren't there. I am extremely fortunate to have known this kind of racing, and what it has taught me, and the generous people of the scene who allow you to drive their cars as well. That experience is worth a great deal.

I have a young friend, Travis Sackwar with a Mazda 6, who has gotten into autox heavily, and I need you guys to help coach him! I'm sure you all will, but he is kind of shy. However has a lot of talent though.

And thanks to SCAT for a great event yesterday, with a nice course with some original elements. In particular I liked the direct downhill slalom. You really had to be on top of the car to ensure it didn't rotate too much. Also the left and rights that followed, and *GASP!, a Chicago box! Nice to have driven one of those again.

Anyway, you all know who you are, so keep on coning! :shift:

I for one had a great time competing with you whether it was in ES or SK2. The talent you have it that old ES Miata made many of us really step it up.

Seeing what you could do with a go kart was amazing as you usually finished well ahead of 2nd place. I hope you keep in touch with us as you take your talent elsewhere.

It was my pleasure to let you drive my 06 Miata at the SCAT event. As I was taking the money for the fun runs, my dad(our SCAT trailer hauler) looking shocked asked, "was that your new car that just headed out on course?" I answered yes, it's okay. Chris Cullen is driving it. You will be missed.

Chris, I know you'll have a great time. We will try to have some fun without you:(

When you get back you're always welcome to drive Scott's or Morgans car.

Be safe.

Hahaha, thanks Scott! Kind of feels like I'm reading my own obituary!

I would love to drive anything at all again. All I know is I'm going to miss driving. They have some great public transportation over there, so hopefully I can just save up and have a kart again. Unless I just ship mine over there...

I'm reading my own obituary!

No. No. An obituary would be written in the third person and sound way more exaggerated. It would be more like:

"He was a great man who added color and life to this community. His competitive spirit drove all of us to new heights and made this place what it is today. This community will not be the same with out him. He will be missed. Etc..."

Now that should feel more like reading your own obituary. Have fun abroad, you'll be missed.
