2010 TIRERACK SoPac Divisional - June 26th & 27th

Hi ladies and gents. As most of you already know, we are holding a divisional. This will be a two day stand alone affair at El Toro. Here's a link for more information.

For you San Diego locals that do not venture north into other regions, you really should consider doing this event. El Toro is a pretty special place to be able to run. Long open wide runways. The Los Angeles region is a great group that are very hospitable. In other words, you will have a good time.

It is relatively close to the coast so temperatures are not too bad and often quite nice.

Hotels are easy. The La Quinta Inn is very close and very cool... they used old grain silos and cut halls and doors right into them. There are many very good places to eat very close by. And if you want to stay up there and like something a little nicer, priceline a 4 star hotel for under $50 and you are good to go. 3.5 stars for $42 should get you into the doubletree. Saves on gas.

So.... see how it done in the near north. Try it.

This was a fantastic event the last time CSCC held a Divisional! I strongly recommend attending.

El Toro is definitely within a reasonable driving distance from San Diego and one of the best AutoX sites in the country!

It was really fun having a Divisional Series a couple of years ago. SDR should consider putting one on next year.
