I'll be sending my money tomorrow! This will be my first time, so I'm guessing I might either be in group C or D. What time do you think those groups will roll out? Also Im guessing I should still show up early in the morning before everything starts, correct?

If you have the time to spend the whole day then show up early. That way you'll have plenty of time to get registered and have the car tech inspected and be able to walk the course a few times in the morning and again during lunch. If you run in the afternoon then in the morning you can get ride-alongs with other drivers to get yourself familiar with the course at speed. Have a great time. I'm new at this too and look forward to seeing you out there.

And come out to watch the National Tour this weekend.

Generally we will have 1 1/2 hour groups starting at 9am. If you show up before 11:30 am Saturday, you will have roughly 30-45 minutes to observe before lunch break. You will be able to get your registration finished during the B run group if you don't want to show up early, but please feel free to come early.

Just wanted to say thank you for all of the tips and replies. Also, what time do you think everything will be done? Just want to know, because I have to go somewhere right after.

Also, where can I get magnetic numbers/letters for my car?

The event most likely will be finished around 4pm. I use a place in La Mesa for my numbers and magnetics named Sign Design. On La Mesa Bl at Spring Street.
There is also a place next door to C2 Motorsports in Kearny Mesa.

I have and nobody complains too much. :) There is also paper numbers at tech that are recommended as they are very readable. I think they ask for a $1 donation.

We will be strictly enforcing the rules requiring proper numbers/letters. Blue tape will is less than desireable.
As Randy mentioned, thanks Randy, there are plenty of numbers/letters available at tech Saturday and Sunday.

Is there still space to enter for this Saturday's event? My calendar's gotten the better of me these last few weeks – I'm completely new to the whole autocross sport and I live in North County and I want to enter this Saturday's practice run. If I send my entrance fee/registration via priority mail, I'm certain it will reach you by Friday, is this acceptable?

You are correct in the many openings. We will accept walk-up registrants and we will top out the practice at 100 max as stated in the flyer. I have not been home yet today, but I'd guess there will be 3 or 4 more in the mail.
At this time, the 'D' group has the least amount of cars in grid.

Hey for future practice events. how do we sign up? Do We Need to mail out the flyer, and then hope we get in? Or do we need to contact someone first, about getting in, then mail in the flyer with a check? Thanks for the help.

And when you want to enter a practice, fill out the flyer and mail it to the address on the flyer. Sometimes they fill fast so if you hesitate you might end up on the wait list.

But yes, you simply mail in the flyer. No need to call anyone unless you have a question.

and look to the left you will see a button that says 'schedule'. Click on that to see what flyers are posted (posted flyers are highlighted). We only have one more practice in the first half of the year (we don't get our second half schedule until the Charger schedule comes out). And yes, there are still plenty of openings in that practice.
