Congrats to ALL who attended and braved the weather. It was quite miserable on Saturday. The worst weather I have ever experienced at an autocross. The kind of day where you start wondering about alternate sports. Indoor types preferably.

And nobody came into the infield to say hi?? I was quite busy with the car all weekend but I did manage to meet/greet a few people I knew.

Worst racing weather, ever!

Congrats to all!

An SDR member (me) was also the first to post a .500 reaction time and win a free pro solo entry.

*It starts to make sense when you see my 4 redlights for the weekend. :o :D

Well, I had two .58Xs and got greedy and redlighted my last Leftside. Cost me a spot in the standings.

Wet day was .8, no faster. Sunday I did my first at .70x, then .6 something, then .5xxs rest of the way, I got a .504 on one run.

Perfect light was on Saturday. I turned out to be launching way early, but because I spun the tires so much in the wet the car didn't move for a while. With the dry surface Sunday, doing the same thing got me redlights. I think all of Sunday's launches were either .4s or .5s. My 60ft times sucked, so I definitely need practice.

The RLs Sunday cost me at least 1.6 seconds, maybe even more as I might of put down a better run if the RLs didn't piss me off at the start.

60 foot times are part launch and part horsepower. On Sunday, I had reaction times from .811 to .461, BUT the 60-ft. times were 2.5x to 2.3x, and mostly 2.3x.

I could not get the Elise to hook up, even on Sunday. We launched at a very low rpm. Still did a 2.0 60' time, but I would expect better.

I think that was the only perfect light of the weekend as well. Atleast you beat the girls on the tree. lol

What were you getting for 60ft times Jason? I'm looking at my slips... I was in the 2.4 to 2.6 range. Barbara in the lane next to me was around 2.2.

I was launching at too high an rpm on Sat and I think I overcompensated and was launching too low on Sunday (like 3500rpm).

I'm still waiting for the results to be fixed. There's a chance I might of beat their left course times. Maybe I'll only have to wear half a skirt. :D

Next time out I'm gonna be way more conservative at the lights. It's still all about the driving once you're on course. Pretty stupid to blow your whole run before it begins...

Never got any of my slips.... I am going to go with slow. I left around 3500 on the good runs. I tried to leave at 4k in the challenge when I thought I had warm tires and it sucked.

I think it is called a skort. :D

I never try to race the tree. I would rather give up a tenth there with a nice .6 light and get a time then charge it and get a RL in the results.

Six runs back to back began to feel like a sprint race. Almost made up for the pile of hail that accumulated on the passenger seat during Saturday runs.

Nevermind, full skirtage for me. Anna was .2 quicker and Jennifer .038 quicker than me on the left. I beat Barbara by .1. :o

Man, I wish I got low 2.0's

I normally get high 1.8 to mid 1.9, not last weekend

My best was a 2.15X with most 2.2-2.3.....

Just throwing time away

What's with the results? The times don't seem to add up. At least not for some of the ST classes.

They're messed up and only show the first 6 runs, but the totals and finishing positions are correct. Funny thing is, they had revised results up last night that were correct but the link has dissapeared.

More fun with SCCA's new web site. The thing is hideous maze.

"I Won the Fontana ProSolo and all I got was a stupid coffee cup"

Reminds me of my first local trophy-- a soft cooler with a piece of tape and my name on it.

I never thought I'd say this, but I think I preferred the keychains from last year.

Well I see about 10 - 15 of those coolers at every event.
I believe they have the event and date on them.
Not everyone likes a wooden trophy.

No trophies like at the Tour?

ProSolo normally does not have personalized class trophies. They have generic trophies.
