Everytime I look around the grid I see no one else in IS3, then the results show two or three other drivers. I don't know where you're all hideing, but next time come out and say hi. Especially Nathan, since I have your 2005 champion jacket.
I'm in the blue Neon.

This is the exact reason I think we should run grid similar that of a Tour, where cars run order of Class and Number. Plus it would make T/S job so much easier.
All it would take is putting 2 people in Grid that have a clue. As long as everyone is registered properly, the software can print a Grid sheet.

Sweet dreams,
I also think it would be a good idea.

And every single driver to know what they're doing.

All you need is a big enough dog.

I think you're crossing that fine line between "herding" and "scattering into the wind." :D

Ahahahahahah Cat Herder. Funny images abound.
What exactly is allowed in IS3? I couldn't find anything in the book, and I think I heard something about it being a local class.

Local class. ISs are like SP lite or ST rules on race tires.
All STS allowances. SP allowances for alternate seats, belts, steering wheels, strut bars, tires, LSD, clutch and flywheels. Wheel widths up to 7.5 or 1.5" over stock (which ever is larger).
IS3 is specifically for cars that would be classed in FSP or DSP. IS2 for CSP cars and IS1 for A, B and ESP cars.

So it would allow for a replaced intake manifold? Are there any benefits to running IS3 over FSP?

Nope.
Benifits; don't get dominated by serious xSP guys.
I do it to find a quite place to do some tuning, most ISers are there just because their friends are.

You should be able to get a copy of the local supplemental rules from whomever's doing new card registration at the next event.
