How many people are going to either stay in SK2 or Move from another class to SK2 for 2010?
Just trying to get a head count for my own personal curiosity. I think its a fun class but was wondering if the large numbers were due to a poop economy. The numbers continue to shrink as the year goes on.... I know it affects more than this class.

Don't be fooled by the last event, Morgan. Some SK2's ran X so they could be gone by lunch, and at least one (Carl) missed the event.
A large class always tapers off as the season goes on and people cannot win the class.
SK2 will be pretty much the same size next year. What makes it attractive is street tires. That will always be true.

I'll run the '94 Miata in SK2, until the 7 is done.
I'll bet Matt and Greg will continue along with Martin on the "wee tires". I see no reason why Doug wont be back. Judy and Dana? CS or sk2? I don't know.
Ron if he's not road-racing will probably run the Mini. I hope Todd gets some time off so he can run his new Mazda 3. Andy will be running Toyo's and 'Kooks
Carl were you talking about a new car? I can't remember. Then our "guests" will continue to drop down from CSCC!
that help?:D

Yes, my plan is continue to run in SK2, with hopefully new rubber. Glad to see Steve is accepting the fact that I may continue to run mis-matched tires :o

I'll be back. I now have a set of dedicated wheels and tires, so hopefully a bit more consistent as well!

I'm always amused by that persistent rumor. One day it'll probably be true. Just not today....
On a related note, will the same stock classes remain in the same SK classes for 2010?

Yes. There was no change of the classes that are listed for the SK classes.
Of course some cars moved from SK1 to SK2, but no classes changed.

where is the list of cars for each? sk1 and sk2
I thought there were a couple cars sliding from sk2 into sk1 not the reverse.

I will have my Azenis on my 14" wheels ready for the first event. Someone has to keep Steve Coe entertained.:rock2:

This is all relieving news to me, another driver on the decrepid Azenis. At least I'll have some people to gauge myself off of.

Andy now has new rubber and of course the tire brands don't match front to rear

Nevertheless, I hope to get similar results to what Doug enjoyed after a superior mount and balance job at C2 Motorsports
