Lone Pine is an annual high speed event in the high desert. 2 mile course on an old airstrip. All proceeds go to the Braille Institute Youth Center. This is a fun, low key weekend where you get to drive about as fast as you want. Lone Pine is located about 300 miles from Qualcom, up the 15 to 395.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN SCCA SANCTIONED EVENT. That being said the event officials are mostly CalClub members and except for speed, it is run like an SCCA event.

Is this a "time trial" like PCA with multi cars and point to pass at specified sections and multi lap etc. or is it more a high speed autox with cars separated by time/distance?

It sounds like it's more autox like, but don't take my word for it.

High speed autox, cars spaced out like an autox and one lap at a time just like an autox :) Did I say high speed? It's a great event in a fantastic part of the State. Lots of fun.
