I was curious, so I came up with these for the top 20 PAX results. I didn't run all the results through a computer, just sort of eyeballed it by looking at the top times from each class. The names in the list sound familiar, so at least we know it's semi-accurate. ;)

48.039 BS Jason I
48.189 SM2 Gary T
48.215 AS Bob D
48.311 DM1 David L
48.361 STS James Gunn-W
48.460 F125 Michael C
48.480 STS Jason R
48.562 CS Bill S
48.689 CSP Bill S
48.808 STX Kyle W
48.962 SU Charles B
48.986 DSP Beverlee L
49.006 SS Tom K
49.162 STS Leslie C
49.262 FM Terry L
49.290 STX Derek P
49.303 F125 Steve S
49.378 BS Jason M

To bad Gary T was in an SS Z06 not his SM2 car, I think he crushed us.

Dang those RX-7's and their loud exhaust :-P

I need to send a letter to myself.

Who now has TWO resonators and a NEW muffler, AND a Supertrapp emergency sound plug. :-P

Hmm. My bad, they have Gary listed as SM2 but he has the SS Pax factor.

Who do we go to concerning times being wrong. I guess the question is who did the audit?

Question is, can you convince the sound chair that you have made substantial changes to the exhaust?

P.S. Anyone else see the conspiracy connection here? James volunteers to be sound chair. James has a loud car. Next Jeff K will be arm wrestling you for the chance to be sound chair. :)

This was all the responsibility of Rick Perry. I don't know if he would want me to post his email contact, so I will not. He does read the forum, so if he does not indicate otherwise, post the required corrections here.

At the bottom of the results listing you will see a name and phone number to call in case of questions.

If I'm trying for points this year, does it matter that the results didn't list me as a SCNAX member?

Concerning the Feb 19 TART Results.

My telephone number is listed at the end of the results, for those that have questions or corrections.

Yes. You only earn points if your a member of a club.

And the Club Membership Chair needs to make sure that the region membership/roster chair knows your club affiliation (they need a current roster always!) and the region membership person needs to make sure that the computer database is current with club memberships so that results are correctly carried forward for annual points. In the case of the TART event, it probably does not matter if the results show a club affiliation since the results will be manually entered into the computer for annual points calculation.

However, I would still want to make sure you are on the club's roster, and that the region membership person has that information.

Would this be something to talk to Tart about, or someone else?

Talk to the club you joined & make sure the appropriate club box is x'd out on the entry card.

It won't matter frosty.

BUT!!

You need to make sure you check the club box on your entry form. I bet you didn't. They don't know (at the event) that you are a club member if you do not check the box.

Just remember this event when the points tally is listed at the end of the year. If this event is missing we will let Mr. S (the points guy) know.

And 'Yes', the region knows you are in SCNAX.

I think I checked the box, but I was rushing through filling out the form (got out of bed late, got there late, long line at registration, first work group/2nd run group, etc).

I'll remember it for later. It was the first event I made 2nd place in class (ignore the fact that there were only 3 people in D-Stock). :o

Darn! I should have dragged myself out of bed. Then at least Carl would have gotten a trophy. :)

Well, the times in STS are messed up. It does not change the trophy's so it does not really matter. I did NOT run a 77 my first run. In fact I was leading STS after the first runs, and well into the second runs. A time given to another person in STS is certainly wrong but if they don't speak up, I won't.

Oh well.

Anyone can check any of the club boxes. I have seen new drivers check the club box depending on which club is hosting the event. The club check box is not the best way for points keeping purpose. It's a quick and fast method to show club membership in the results. Points in the results are unofficial. In fact there is no offical requirement to show points in the results and it's only there for reference only.

The official year-end championship points are kept by the Solo II Committee Vice Chairman, Bill Schiller. In the past it's up to the club rep to submit a club roster and any updates to the Vice Chair. It should include a list of club members and the date they join the club. So make sure your club membership person gives a copy of your club roster to the club rep to submit to Bill.

nalbar says he did. And common, if you can't trust a Matrix driver, who can you trust? :D

No, it doesn't matter what clubs are listed on the results. It will matter when I post the points standings, which I plan to start within the next month. We will then have the remainder of the year to make corrections.
