I have 2 cars I could bring

#1
2003 mustang cobra has headers, hi flow cats, etc..
CAI, smaller s/c pulley. Twin Throttle body. slotted rotors, hawk pads
Other wise stock

#2
1998 mustang cobra headers, high flow cats, etc..
under drive pulleys. CAI. Lower control arms, race springs and shocks/struts
3.73 rear gears
Other wise stock

Looking to buy a 99 gt for auto cross

ok what about a 1995 mustang gt cobra front brakes 4.10 gears suspension. Maybe sub frame connectors if it doesnt move me up?

if you touched it other than the "normal" bolt ons... (ie. headers, intake, exhaust.) You will be classified in SM

#2 could be eligible for ESP. The pony cars do quite well there.

I agree #2 in ESP would be a nice fit..

**except ULLLOSE is right (below) the non-stock rear gear set sends that car to SM..

But if I am reading the rule book right.. #1 would only need the stock S/C pulley put back on to be eligible for ESP..

#2 could be eligible for ESP. The pony cars do quite well there.

Not unless he got the 3.73 rear with update/backdate. Most people would not bother to list a factory gear set. ;)

Wouldn't #1 fit for XP?
