STS2 highest street tire class?

is STS2 the most prepared street tire class I can run my 95 del sol in? I was checking the rule book and STU is a min of 4 seats correct?
"Coupes/Sedans - 4 seats minimum except sports car-based " what does the "except sports car-based" part mean?

Yes. There's currently only one 2-seat street tire class (besides the local, stock SK classes).

LA may try an STU2 type of class next year regionally.
