Registration:
• You must be registered in the program before the date of the event in which you will be competing. No awards will be paid if you are not enrolled prior to competing in an eligible event.
• Please register for this program at any event at the on-site SCCA office or by downloading the form from www.scca.com.

It says you can do it at an event.... However I don't recall seeing SCCA supply forms at events ever. You need to also have a copy of the claim form in your car to have signed in impound.

Last year I did not preregister with Hawk and lost out on $100.00.:(
