DCCSD Volleyball at Mission Beach, Wednesday

Hi Everyone!

DCCSD volleyball has started. We've heard that some of our friends from other clubs would like to come down and play. Please do!

We'll be back at Mission Beach (across the street from the roller coaster) starting this Wednesday, May 7th, after work.

We gave Del Mar a shot last week but discovered a few issues: parking, wind, and Pizza Port was too crowded to get in. So we're back to Mission Beach.

Some people manage to arrive around 5 or 5:30. Others not until 7. 6-ish probably most common. How's that for a definite answer?! We usually play until it gets too dark to see what we're doing.

Just got an email from Kim. Apparently DCCSD is going back to traffic-hell Thursday night because they aren't getting enough turnout on Wednesday. Oh well.... No more volleyball for me. 1 1/2 hours in traffic just ain't worth it. But what happened to the 17 people who voted to play on Wednesdays?
