I was recently ticketed at one of the most egregious speed traps I've ever seen in Costa Mesa.

I'll spare you all my rant on that topic, but I was wondering if anyone has taken a traffic school here in San Diego recently that they'd recommend. Orange County does not permit on line courses for out of county residents.

Thanks....

I had to do an OC traffic school a few months ago for a U turn... There were people there from LV and AZ because OC would only allow them to take the class in OC. Sucks.

I was recently ticketed at one of the most egregious speed traps I've ever seen in Costa Mesa. There's a lot of good ones in Costa Mesa, which one got you?

Going south on PCH from Huntington Beach to CM where you come off 50mph limit downhill into a 25mph "residential".

Placintia where the road opens into a nice long twisty nature area, but schools to the south and residential to the north.

55fry ends into triangle square and speed limit quickly goes to 30ish.

55 405 interchanges that are all under construction so the 55limit is only 35.

I've only ever gotten one ticket (60 in a 55:rolleyes:) and in traffic school was two fellow autoXers.

Northbound on Fair. Past the fairgrounds and police station. Four lanes, light traffic, unlimited visibility.

Some of the side streets were The side streets were being blocked off and , although there was no one sign of anyone working. A left turn lane was blocked off with traffic cones, so my attention went there. Directly across from that lane on the right side was a construction zone sign. Trying to see what was happening on the left, didn't see the sign. The construction zone was 100 feet long.

Just down the road, another cop had another car pulled over.

Yeah, save you school for something serious. Don't waste it on a one point offense.
