Patty and I may be looking for a ride at the Tour next month.
I know beggars can't be choosers, but, well... I'm gonna try anyway. Ideally we'd like to find a reasonably well set up 3.0 Z4 that's BS/BSL legal. But we'd consider just about any BMW in Stock, ST, or SP. (Thanks, but no Minis please... we've got one of those.)
We're capable and willing to help with suspension setup advice and will also contribute to tire and brake costs, etc.
Might also want to share the same car at Fontana Pro the following week.
Please send me a Private Message if you're willing to consider it.
Thanks! Car or no car, we're looking forward to seeing you all in a few short weeks!

Good luck finding that... It will be a shame to have to DSQ you for running an AS car in BS. :D

Ackk.... make that a 3.0 Z4 in AS... or an S52 M Roadster or Coupe in BS.:o
I just can't get over the fact that the Z4's are still stuck in AS. No matter... I'd still like to drive one.

A huge Thank You to all who responded with offers!
I apologize for the lengthy delay in getting back to you all... I've been down with a nasty bug for most of the month of February. Thanks to the miracles of chemistry I'm finally getting back on my feet.
About the ride I was looking for... just yesterday a deal came together to help set up a client's BSP car so that's what we're going to do for both San Diego and Fontana. I was really looking forward to driving one or two of the many, many well-prepped M3's in STU, but I guess that will have to wait for another time.
If I don't get a chance to respond personally to all the individual offers before I have to leave for the Tour, please come over to our rig some time during the weekend and introduce yourself.
Patty and I were blown away by the generosity you all extended to us. We miss racing in Southern California!
If the snow stops on Vail Pass tonight we expect to see you in a couple days.
Thanks again!
