There are a couple changes you should be aware of. In a couple areas, we are cutting some costs. San Diego typically loses a little bit of money when putting on a Tour.
1. There is no Cone Clinic this year. The San Diego Region will put on the Test and Tune runs as normal, but we will start a little earlier. We will attempt to have tech inspection open earlier, but tech officially opens at 10:00am. You will need a tech sticker to run the test and tune, so if tech is not yet open, we will tech at the Test and Tune. But IF TECH IS OPEN.. GOT THERE FIRST!
2. The Friday night social will not have the customary kegs of that fine, fine brew. I am as sad as anyone to lose that great porter. You are free to bring your own beverages of choice.
3. In the past the region has supplied lunch on Saturday. This year we have stopped that practice to save costs. There will be a lunch wagon at the event and I highly recommend the food. There are also numerous food places directly east and west along Friars road. Some of them even have good food.
