I just learned this morning (Mar 1st) that there will not be a cone clinic at the tour this year...I guess lack of organization and/or interest...who knows.

Anyway, I am awaiting confirmation that we can start the Test & Tune at 9AM instead of 11AM.

So it *is* still going on?

I thought I fell under the category
"needs cone-clinic" not
"runs cone-clinic"

I received approval from the national office to start the Test & Tune at 9AM.

Are you folks up for that??

I'll have the trailer on-site Thursday, so all the stuff will be there already.

Formal tech opens at 10AM. You'll have to tech any cars that run before that.

For someone who has never done a Nationals event, what is the basic schedule for the weekend including Friday? Is tech one time early Friday and test and tune that day on the same course as the weekend? Do they change courses each day or same course?

I believe Tech will open Friday at 10 A.M. and will be good for both Test & Tune and the Tour.

Test & Tune will tech cars before 10 A.M. just for Test & Tune. You will have to re-tech for the Tour.

The course for Test & Tune will be south of the trolley tracks and won't be the same course as the Tour. The Tour course will change direction from Saturday to Sunday. Some elements of the course may change to accommodate the direction change.
