Wow. Interesting event, interesting course.
Congrats, SCAT - I for one think the course was well done. It certainly separated the talented drivers from the rest of us....:o
Thanks for getting the results done quickly.

Randy,
As you know, it's important that the official results be accurate.
One of the problems with our current computer based results, is that the database is not updated at each event.
I am listed as driving a 93RX7T, which evidently is in the database from the time I drove it over a year ago.
I actually drove a 01 Corvette at the SCAT event.
I noticed the same thing occurred with a few others, as well as those with different cars being listed in an improper class for that car.
I would suggest that prior to the results being listed as "Official" that the event registration cards be used to update the database.
Also why can't the drivers Club Identification be listed?
Thanks,
Rick

Now might be a good time to remind everyone that I have nothing to do with the results. Please send corrections (or post them here) to the club responsible. I only upload them and let everyone know that I did.
It is known that these are preliminary and I should have noted that.

Thanks for the quick results and I enjoyed the course too (but not that each of my successive runs got slower instead of faster... wah:( !)
Is it just an oversight that the results cannot be accessed through the main results page (http://www.sdr-scca.com/solo2/results/) ??

Well 2nd and 3rd place were in the 1st run group.... I would like to think we would have been a bit faster if we were not cleaning the course off for the rest of you slackers.
p.s. I am off to the SCCA natl convention Friday.... By Monday I will have the S2000 moved to ASP and the RX8 to FS. ;)

No, it is intentional. I need to work on the main page* and I don't have the time right now until the weekend... but I thought people would rather I uploaded them earlier.
*More effort than normal because I want to make a 2006 results page and archive the rest.
P.S. Anyone else notice what most of the top 10 pax cars have in common?

So, you're saying your PAX is too soft?
Don't forget that the Evo 9's are making 70+ more WHP than the 8's. With better midrange and less lag.
Maybe ASP can make a class at the Pros on the West Coast this year :)

That was defiantly a challenging course for us noobs, but it was a fast course and my sol loved that first slalom. Going along with being a noob what is PAX ?

Cars are divided into classes of similar performance. The PAX Index is a modifier applied to a time based on class. AM is 1.00, and the rest of the classes have smaller indexes that, in theory, adjust their time as if they were driving an AM car. Everyone who runs in PAX competes against each other regardless of what class their car is, and the class-indexed times are used to rank the results.
If you look at the PAX scores from this event, it becomes clear. 1st place, Jason, drives an S2000 that would otherwise be BSP. His raw score was 71.284, the BSP PAX index is 0.843, multiply to get his PAX Time of 60.092, which in theory is what he would have gotten if he was driving an A-Mod car. That way the Mini's can go up against the 'vettes and see who the better driver is.

Rick,
The Database is actually "Updated" at every event. The cards are looked at and used for Registering people. I think the problem is that depending on who is entering the cards, they may not be checking that the Car on the Registration Card and that of the PC match. I know that I try to check that they are all the same.
What needs to be done is to Train the people inputing the Registration to keep a closer eye on ensuring that the card and PC match.
The entratnts club should be able to be listed as well, I will take a closer look at that, it's just a matter of a setting change.

It would help the data entry people if new information was circled in some kind of fluorescent color.
