If your name is Alex, I responded to your email.
No, you do not need experience to join SCNAX.
You should understand, you do NOT have to belong to a club to run in our events. The normal way is that people run for awhile and then join a club once they feel they want to contribute (or go for points).
Many people, after they run for awhile, forget what it is like to be a novice and have NO ONE you know at an event. It can be quite intimidating. Everyone seems to know where to go and what to do. Everyone seems to have friends.
So if you feel you would be more comfortable within a club, then join up.
The fact is a club can help a novice quite a bit. All at once you have comrades that can show you the ropes.
So yes, you can join us.
If you decide to wait, that is OK also. Introduce yourself to me at registration and I will grab a SCNAX and make him your mentor, whether you are SCNAX or not.

But at the same time you only earn season points if your on a club. If you run a single class from here on out you stand to win a season trophy. No club='thrown away' points at this time of year.
