So I may end up becoming the proud owner of an LSD (finally!) for my Mazda6. I am to the point where inside wheelspin makes me furious. So furious that it looks like my only option available may be Phantom Grip. I've heard good and bad, and of course it will be no Quaife, but for the price they sell it at, 1/2 the performance is worth it to me, espcially with no other options. So anyway, I'm unable to do this install myself and am wondering if you guys can throw some suggestions my way for installers in the area that do a great job without killing me on labour. Thanks!

Have you tried running without a front swaybar yet? Or at least a smaller diameter or softer front springs?

Good luck with the LSD anyways, I've heard mixed things about almost every brand save Quiafe which seems to be bombproof.

Is it an MTX75 in the Mazda 6?

Alas no, the MTX75 is not what i have :( I've thought about a swap.. but that'd be good bye STX and not worth it competition wise, which is the only reason I'm looking for the LSD.

I actually have beefed up front sways, but even when i ran with my stock bar on I had the same issue. I feel the measure of control the car gained with the front bar far out measures the extra wheel spin it gives me, which is why I'm looking for the LSD upgrade, because the two together should be a great combo :)

Front wheel spin?

MAHAHAHAHA!

I have found that every single turn eventually ends. Just punch it and wait for the straight.

:D

I'm not sure it's the fastest way around the course, but I saw the washing machine running on Sunday and I have to say Warren definitely practices what he preaches. :D

Heh, its all good when your washing machine weighs 1000lbs less than my car :P You see Warren, my problem is I do exactly what you suggest, but I can't hook up coming OUT of the turns either...

*sigh* Warren, Warren, warren... I thought you were over that whole massive wheelspin bit!

Ah well, this is when I really appreciate not having enough HP to spin the fronts :D

The Matrix has enough horsepower to spin the front tires? :p

The XRS does when the cam switches at high rpm. It's quite a rush. :)

That'll do the trick! I have to depend on bald tires in my car! :D
