A friend of mine from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is thinking about coming down for the San Diego NT. Pat S. normally drives an Integra Type R in D-Stock....and trophied at Topeka this past September in D-stock...his first Nationals. He has autocrossed for close to 10 years I believe and here is his quote from the Calgary forum as to what he is interested in:

"Ideally, a D Stock Type R I guess.

Something FWD and reasonably competitive would be nice. AWD would do in a pinch."

Therefore, if someone would like a tire-warmer, let me know and I'll pass the word on and put you in contact with him.

Thanks!

Reijo (Bill Schenker's co-driver in the blue/sticker '99 CSP Miata)

This has Carl Miller written all over it.

Maybe Carl will conceed his ride if you (Reijo) help him with the NT course design:-)

Too bad you don't still have your 'ruck! haha

Carl? :^)

I might add that Pat is easy on vehicles.....never known him to break anything....compensation etc. can be discussed with him. In any case, he is definitely a good driver....but may be rusty with the winter break. Prior to the ITR he had a VW he competed in for many years.

I am also looking for a ride at the SD Tour and El Toro Pro. I run an S2000 in A Stock (which I will bring with me for the Divisional events in July), and before that I ran Miatas in C Stock for 4 years. I am inclined towards small, light, and rear wheel drive cars, but I'm pretty adaptable as long as you don't put me in something large, heavy AND front wheel drive. I'm open to any preparation level, as long as the setup vaguely resembles a competitive setup for its class.
