Here it is less than a week to go and I still don't know what class I want to run in. I like earning year end awards, so I want to try and stay in one class. But then I'll probably end up driving at least 3 different cars, maybe more, so a catch all class SM2?, SU? I hate the idea of bringing a knife to a gun fight too, as I've been in uncompetitive cars my whole career. And those classes always run late in the day.
I was hoping Nik would be around this year, but that damn kid thinks he needs that fancy book learning.
Warren, whats the status on your new ride?
Anyone else, Andy O? Looking for someone to make you look good?
Guess I figure it out when I get there.

Last year SM2 seemed "under attended" They gave second place to someone who just happened to show up more than the others.....

So I decided to run in PAX this year. It was partially motivated by the fact that I can't get to this Sunday's event until lunch, and also the hope that I can co-drive others' cars sometime during the season for the experience.
I wouldn't mind having a co-driver, but need to save my current tires for the national tour event in March. I'll be out of town for the February event, but let me know if you want to co-drive in PAX at any subsequent events - consider it an open invitation.
I'll probably stick around on Sunday for a fun run, so maybe you can take it for a lap if your still around.

Good for you on the PAX. Stiff competition does wonders for your driving. I asked about you because I'm still infatuated with Nik's car, especially after he let me drive it in the dirt last weekend too. Not that I've got that car figured out or anything, but I think it'll be a good match to my... "style".
Hey Randy, think you can excavate that MR2 thread? Every time I re-read I'd have to check out autotrader website.
I'm going to give the Neon some race tires soon, so it will have a mild DSP prep. When that’s done you can have some shots at it. I can't imagine two cars being any more different than a neon and a MR2.

Sounds good. Way back when, I had a Dodge Omni GLH ("Goes Like Hell"), and that car was a blast (though, regretably, I didn't autox it). It'd be fun to toss around a FWD car again!
Hope to see you on Sunday,
Andy

To answer your question:
Just take care of the ADHD and pick a car! :D
The PAX class takes all cars. Problem solved.
